intimation u/s 143(1)

22 July 2010 i have received demand notice of rs. 5343/- for ay 09-10 my demand notice shows only the increase in the income of business without any reason why the increase has been made and i want to know the reason for such increase. how can i know the reason ????

Now a days in central processing at Bangalore many mistake are being made like the one mentioned by you above.

22 July 2010 During filing of ITR you have committed mistakes :-
it may be a mathematical mistak or wrong application of income tax act.
becoz intimation u/s 143(1) is generated by computer.
becoz there is no human intervantion for issuing intimation u/s 143(1).

22 July 2010 There are many mistake in the intimation being received from CPC bangalore and please apply for rectification. Also also check ur return if any mistake has been made or not as mentioned by Nirpendra.
