Intimation to icai regarding other course

I have completed my articleship 5-6 months ago. I want to pursue CFP along with CA. Do I need to notify ICAI regarding the same? Do I have to submit form 112 or any other form regarding the same? The course is an external(self-study)course & I am not going to attend any classes for the same.

Need not to intimate or send form 112 to ICAI,Because of at the time of registration to other course you didn't under going of articleship. As per the ICAI regulations those you under going articleship training and want to pursue other course along with CA are required to submit form 112. So you not required.
In my own case i also joined for other course after completion of articleship training. After completion of articleship before registration to other course for clarification i post the same query what you raised at e-sahayataa then ICAI replied need not to submit form 112 or not to required any intimation. Based on this reply i said above.
However better to post query at e-sahayataa then it seems you given general intimation to ICAI.

As your articleship is over now, you won't require for filling 112..
However,
lodge ur query to ICAI at E-Sahayata as said by the Expert above..

Now, your binding with the ICAI is over as soon as you have completed the period of articleship and you are free do anything you like or any course you feel. No permission is required from ICAI.
