Got an email from CPC which reads like this. Not sure what this means and what I need to do. Can someone help to explain ?
Ref: - E-Filing Acknowledgement Number XXXXX Dated 20-07-2011
Your return for the above mentioned assessment year will henceforth be rectified by your Assessing Officer
. You are requested to contact your Jurisdictional assessing officer for any rectification related issues

That means your return processing transfered to your Area Assessing officer and if any futur communication required you have to contact your AO.

No need to you go to Income tax office wait for further communication. If you want to know status of your return i.e like refund process etc.... in such case only you have to contact your AO. So you are saying your returns are 0 so no need to approach income tax office and wait for further communication if you received any notice from IT office then shall we take appropriate action based on the given notice and requirements.
