can a Company declare a dividend 5 times (Interim Dividend) during its financial year??

Thanks for your quick reply. But do I get some concrete back ground for the same. I checked Ramaiya, I didn't find any bar on declaration of Interim Dividend. It would be great if you provide me more info related to the same

30 December 2010 For declaring interim dividend a authorisation in the board needs to be done which can be done anytime. Also you can draw inference from listed companies like TCS who declare dividend every quarter.
