Interest paid on housing loan repayment

18 July 2013 i have purchase a flat in Previous Year 2012-13.I had purchased flat jointly in my name and in my wife name in 50-50 Ratio.In that year i had paid Rs.One Lakh Interest to bank.All interest and principal amount of laon paid by me.
Plz guide me,can i claim full interest deduction u/s 24.This is my first flat.I have no any other house.

18 July 2013 is the flat ready to occupy?can be claimed in the ratio of 50:50. was the flat purchased from ur earning or both?

18 July 2013 flat used or occupied by me in previous year.Wife no claim deduction.flat purchase from my earning exclusive only.

18 July 2013 it has to be shown in your return,as purchased through your earnings.

18 July 2013 one more thing i told you that Bank loan 1s the name of me and my wife.Loan account Name in bank statement is Mr.PRVAESH SHARMA & SMT.SARUCHI DATTA

18 July 2013 it is okay , u can claim deduction fully.as rent from house property under ur name.
