i have purchase a flat in Previous Year 2012-13.I had purchased flat jointly in my name and in my wife name in 50-50 Ratio.In that year i had paid Rs.One Lakh Interest to bank.All interest and principal amount of laon paid by me.
Plz guide me,can i claim full interest deduction u/s 24.This is my first flat.I have no any other house.

is the flat ready to occupy?can be claimed in the ratio of 50:50. was the flat purchased from ur earning or both?

flat used or occupied by me in previous year.Wife no claim deduction.flat purchase from my earning exclusive only.

one more thing i told you that Bank loan 1s the name of me and my wife.Loan account Name in bank statement is Mr.PRVAESH SHARMA & SMT.SARUCHI DATTA

it is okay , u can claim deduction fully.as rent from house property under ur name.
