Assessee has taken joint loan on the house property, wife being owner of the property.
Can the assess claim interest deduction for on such loan fully since wife has no income and she is merely the owner of the property

If the assessee is not the owner of the property then he cannot claim deduction for interest.

For claiming deduction under HP, assessee has to be the owner of the property, atleast a joint owner.
