Interest on advance tax for senior citizen

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
A senior citizen mistakenly engaged in intra-day trading, resulting in a net loss after STT. They are concerned about paying interest on advance taxes. The advice given is that if the loss is declared in ITR 3, interest may be applicable. However, if this was the only transaction, it might be avoidable.
