26 June 2008 If loan is taken in joint name of husband & wife but payment being made of installments from husbands account.
Can full amount of interest and principle can be claimed u/s 24B and 80C from husbands income.

I think it should be claimed proportionately by both husband & wife..

If Wife's income is clubbed with Husbands income u/s64..then he can cliam full deduction..
