Dear All,
Can anyone explain me the difference between interest (receivable) accured but due & interest (receivable) accured but not due. with a good example..
What could be financial impact on P & L and Balance sheet in both this cases

Suppose company have made cumulative fixed deposit with bank for 5 years from 1.11.2010, and bank provide the interest on quarterly basis, hence interest from 1.11.10 to 28.2.011 called as interest accrued but due.
and interest from 1.03.11 to 31.3.11 called as interest accrued but not due
and interest from 1.03.11 to 31.3.11 called as interest accrued but not due
