Can input tax credit of tax paid on raw materials purchased for say A business (Works Contract) be taken against output tax payable of say B business (Renting of Motor Vehicle)? GST No and prop. is same.

Yes definitely. There is no bar on the utilization of credit in cross business as far as GST number is same.
