19 June 2013 our respective regional offices are receiving certain services at their regional offices on which they wish to avail the cenvat & then distribute the same credit to our only plant at Silvassa through ISD invoices.

The officer is of view that, we need not take the registration for ISD, as per him due to changes in law from 2011, regional offices can endorse the bills (received at their end) in favour of Silvassa plant who in turn can avail the credit.

19 June 2013 INPUT Service Distributor means an office of the manufacturer or producer of final products or provider of output service, which receives invoices towards purchases of input services from the provider of input services and further, distribute the Input Tax Credit by issuing invoices, bill or challan to such manufacturer or producer or provider. ISD shall make an application for registration within a period of thirty days from the commencement of business.
