14 December 2011 Dear Sir Good Evening I Bhavesh As A Tax Practisner From Gujarat
I Have Filed My Client I Tax Return A.Y 2011 - 12 Today i Receive Reminder Subject Is Return Not Duly Filed In Sec 139(9) Income Tax Act 1961 Error Code Is 8 Depresation Claimed In Point 42 Of Part A ? P&l But Schedule DPM / DOA Not Filed

I Have Call Cpc Bangolore They Ask Me You Have Submit Revised Return in this case .But Sir Not Any Chanje In My Itr So What I Do For This Query. Please Guide Me.

Fear In me If I Have Filed Revised Return . My Client Case Is Selected In Scooterny.So What I Do Please Guide Me

14 December 2011 Filing the revised return is only the remedy.

You have entered the depreceation amount directly in the return, which is availaible for electricity company.

You have to fill the depreceation schedule, which is there for calculating depreceation.

14 December 2011 File revised return correctly . Dont fear for scrutiny. The norms for scrutiny are inbuilt in computer system. It does not cover revised returns. Means if you revised your return then for that purpose it will not be selected for scrutiny. Now the govt also reduced number of cases for scrutiny . Therefore no need to worry. File revised return correctly or take help of seniors in preparing the return.
