Hi I have a registered a prop. firm (working as a ad/marketing agency) in Jammu which is my home town. And now i am planning to start my operations in Delhi & Mumbai,is there any problem if i start it with the same name or i need some diff. registration to operate in Delhi/Mumbai.

What is meant by registration of prop. firm?
There is no bar/problem doing business with the same name. You might need to take registration under Professional Tax/Service tax Law.
