sir,
As mentioned by the ICAI the period of industrial training is for 9 to 12 months. After completion of articleship of 2 years if we undergo industrial training for 9 months (if we opt to do for 9 months only), does this amount to completion of 3 years of articleship by getting only 2 years and 9 months of training

no...in total after doing articleship and industrial training (if opted) then it must be 3 years.
if u undergoing only 9 months of industrial training then u must complete 2 years and 3 months of articleship training.
