Kindly give me your view with proper support on "whether a person, who is a resident and not ordiarily resident become a partner in a business in India?"

03 October 2007 Generally there are no restrictions as to residency or citizenship of the Partners

03 October 2007 A partner may be a foreigner if specific permission is obtained from the central government and the Reserve Bank of India. In practice, partnerships with a foreigner are almost nonexistent.

03 November 2007 yes, he can be admitted to partnership in india.
