can a independent directors wife be appointed as an Independent director in the same company if they are not having relation with the company????

No, it is not possible. Section 149(6)(b)(ii) restricts that..

NO, as per section 2 (77),, wife of ID cover under definition of relative i. e. related to one another . and section 149 (6) (b) (ii) of the Companies act, 2013 define the term ID, as per this related to ID can not be appointed as Id in the same company. it has excluded in the definition.
