Increase in limit of ppf

The Budget has been passed in Lok Sabha on 25th July.
Can you please confirm whether the CBDT has notified increase in PPF limit from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh, since banks have been rejecting to accept additional deposit of Rs 50,000 citing that they have not received any formal communication in this respect.
