I HAVE FILED MY RETURN FOT F.Y. 2009-10 manually..... but i lost my return...

please tell me what shud i do in this matter.

or can i file the return online of the same f.y. 2009-10?

31 August 2011 Filing online return is not correct way. Better you can approach to your A.O. to get duplicate copy of return.

31 August 2011 You lost the return means You filed but you lost the copy of the same know???

If yes..!!!

Than no need to filed the return again..

You can download the Copy of ITR Acknowledgement Online,,, from incometaxindiaefiling.com , where u uploaded your return you can take the ack copy from "download" section

& FILING ONLINE RETURN IS THE GOOD WAY!!! You continue with the same!!! by doing this your return assessed early n your refund also gets on time!! no any delay time saving as per my opinion!!

31 August 2011 Manually IT Return has been filed. There is no option is available to get ack. from income tax site. Option is available only if assesse has filed online return.

31 August 2011 AS return is filed Manually, you can get copy from your Local Income Tax Ward where you filed your return.
They can provide you the photo copy of your return.
it will be easy if you know the filing Date or Acknowledgement no.

@Vandana you are answering about online filing.

@Saurabh you can not file online return for AY 2009-10 because last date was 31st march 2011 for that assessment year.
