17 August 2007 if a person does not claim his refund in his return...but form 16 has been attached with return....which shows refund of rs.2000
would he get his refund of Rs.2000??

18 August 2007 No, he/she will not get refund. For claiming refund one need to claim it through ITR Forms. Moreoever, attaching of Form 16 has now become irrelevant as new ITR Forms do not require any enclosure/annexure/attachment. You are not suppose to enclose or attach any document with ITR.
