My client is a resident of Mumbai,and is presently posted to Goa.Can he file his IT returns in Goa.What are the additional formalities involved?Does he need to give ne address proof with his IT Return?

You have to make the application to the concerned AO for transferring his file from Mumbai to Goa.

No supporting documents are required to file for the address proof.

What would be d situation if he intends to file his return every year in a different state?In dat case do he need to make an application to AO?
