An assessee has received refund in favor of his closed bank account. What will be the correction procedure and its implications?

DEAR SUNALI,PLESAE MAKE AN APPLICATION FOR THAT WITH THE NEW BANK A/C PROOF AND SUBMIT TO DEPTT.

you will have to make an application to dept in writing along with providing proof your new bank account details, but while doing so please see that cheque is not exhausted the time span.
