07 April 2013 i` m paying my education loan.but i din`t submit the document ..when i received salary there was deduction .when i asked my HR he told me that is income tax..could i get my money back..

07 April 2013 You need to file your Income tax return for the concerned assessment year and thereby you can get banck the excess income tax paid due to non deduction of Deductions available under Chapter VI A.

28 May 2013 Yes the expert is correct and in your return you have to claim the exemption as you have failed to disclose the same to your employer. Next time you disclose the same so that your cash and carry is more.
