I needed some clarifications regarding the tax exemption available for agriculture and agriculture related industries in India.

I wanted to know if income from tissue culture industry is tax free, i did go through the income tax act, but they have not given specific details expect that agriculture income as well as income from nurseries is tax free. Tissue culture is kinda of a mix between both.

I would appreciate if you could give me details on the same.

17 January 2011 Whether any performance as a cultivator is done on the agriculture land while producing the Tissue culture????
