I have a information about a person who has a lot of black money.
I want to give that information to income tax department.
My friend told me that if I provide this information to incometax vigilance then they will award me a share of tax/ penalty recovered from that person.
Is it true ?
please give me a procedure of the same.

Yes this is 100% true but for that you have to become registered informer of the Income Tax Department. So be in contact with the office of the Central Board of Direct taxes and start working for them
