21 August 2013 Please provide me the Remedies if one wants to change its consulatnt for e- filling of ITR and its previous consultant refuses to share the password of his account .

21 August 2013 send an email with following details to reset the password

send to validate@incometaxindia.gov.in

1)PAN
2)DOB
3)FATHER NAME
4)ADDRESS AS PER PAN RECORDS

You will get password to your mail id with in a day

21 August 2013 I had sent but that password has been send to the mail id registered with department that is the mail id of that consultant .

21 August 2013 no it will not be...we can get reset password as a reply mail to your sent mail

i have done somany

however you send a request once again specifying in mail that unable to access previous registered mail in incometax efiling so request to send password to current mail id
.
.
on the other had you can use forgot password link and reset password using previous year efiled itr acknowledgement number and bank account number...just try wid it

Above mentione dis the mail that i had recd in return .And Acknowledgment receipt number accepted by system is for last 2 Assessemnt year only and the problem is that last return filed was for the FY 2010-11 only .

while sending PAN details like DOB, PAN, Father's Name by mail to get password you have to give your/client email ID

if you give your/client email ID, password will be send to your/client email ID.

21 August 2013 I think you are using forget password link

do not follow the link if you want password in email other than registered email, send following details

PAN
DOB
NAME
FATHER'S NAME
Address: (not compulsory)
Email (in which you wants to get password)

to
validate@incometaxindia.gov.in

you will received the password to you email id

23 August 2013 Now you have to write that

my registered email id has been blocked so kindly send be the password to the following email id

and the process takes 48-72 hours
