26 April 2012 MY BRO PREVIOSLY LIVES IN PUNJAB . HE JOBED THEIR AND FILES RETURN THEIR. NOW HE COMES IN DELHI AND DO TRADING OF SOME GOODS. NOW MY QUESTION IS HOW CAN HE FILES RETURN IN DELHI.FIRST HE CHENGED HIS AO THEN FILES RETURN. OR DIRECTLY FILES RETURN ONLINE

30 April 2012 First your brother require to change his address from punjab to delhi in form 49A.

After this his new AO will be displayed on the site against this PAN and he will come to know his new AO.

So just update the address and wait for the updation on the site.

You can not directly e-file your return since in return you have to mention your AO code.
