19 March 2010 sir main agar regular return bar raha hun salaried ki agar AY 06-07 & AY 08-09 ki return file ki hai online ab nain 10-11 ki return hi file karun ya fir ITR 1 ki hard copy file karun? kya online file karna jaruri hai.?

and AY 07-08 Meri taxable income nahi hai isliye mane return file nahi ki koi penalty lage gi / return file jaruri tha??

19 March 2010 You can file return by method of your choice. There is no compulsion looking to previous year. Its better to file oNLine return only.....
There is penalty of not filing return, which is not based on tax liability is there or not.
I can just say that dont file tht return and file for the current year. if in future you get notice than you can file with penalty of Rs. 5000....
