Under the Finance act 2008, 40A(3) was amended and it is mentioned that "this amendment will be effective from A/Y 2009-10."
So My question is, Will it be applicable from 01-04-2008 or 01-04-2009 ?

if its effective for AY 09-10 , then applicable from FY 08-09 , 1.4.2008
