A truck owner is seeking advice after their vehicle was wrongly seized by a GST officer at the Bihar border. The officer cited reasons such as a missing waybill number, inability to provide a party order copy (as the order was verbal), and a lack of signature on the e-way bill. The owner was allegedly asked for a bribe of ₹25,000 to release the truck or face court action. Advice given includes reporting the incident to the Chief Vigilance Officer and the GST Self-help portal.
