Dear Sir
My Question is Custom notification no.25/1999 dt.28.02.1999 currently amendment under notification 17/2012.
sir my company is manufacture of Transformer & Inductors. Purchase RM from overseas vendors and paid the custom duty at the time of custom clearance.I have read above notification and many major raw material use for finished goods. please send me the full producer how can be take the benefit 25/1999.Please note already Issued of Registrtion certificate under the custom Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for Manufacture of Excisable Goods)

Once you are registered with the Excise Authroities and have obtained registration certificate, below process to be done.
1. request letter to local Excise range office for granting IGCR Licence.
2. An excel sheet showing the quanity reuired( part wise ) for one quater along with current HSN, duty rate, duty under IGCR, diffrence( saving)
3. A bond to be submitted to Excise covering 3 months imports.
Submit all these details to Range office of Excise, they will varify and issue licence.
Thereafter on imports , quanity will be reduced to the prop of imports
