Let's me add one point. I think it need renewal annually .Yesterday I check with my friend IE CODE . He is taken IE Code on 2018. He is not renewal it .while checking his IE Code is suspended .

Correct, An Importer Exporter Code (IEC) is valid for the lifetime of the entity, it need to be be updated every year. It can be updated online.
