21 February 2010 i heard there is course on IFRS offered by KPMG and Gniit, How good is this to a MBA???

21 February 2010 Hi Darshan .. MBA will have lot of specializations including Finance,HR,Marketing,Systems,Production and Accounting is one part of it. MBA is wholesome course which gives fair idea of all the Functions of the management.

And the IFRS is only specific to accounting/reporting financial results which are going to be adopted for reporting purposes in future.

So my suggestion is if you are already into Accounting profession and want to be expert/Niche area then go for IFRS Course else if U are a fresher you want a qualification which launch you in a corporate job then go for MBA.
