If subleasing is not allowed then can one have partnership?

This query is : Resolved

26 July 2018 Hello,

So a company A has leased a shop to a company B. The contract specifically bars subleasing.

Can the company B form a partnership with company C to transfer its liability of managing the venue in lieu of a fixed amount and/or share in income?

Will such a partnership require a renewal of contract with A?

Thank you

26 July 2018 Before Sub-Leasing or any other transaction at the leased property of A, you have to take approval from A whether in writing or oral, if such arrangement was not provided and mutually approved in the executed Lease Deed.
