If one takes more than one year to prepare for ipcc

24 October 2014 i cleared my Cpt in May,2014 and plan to appear in Nov,2015.If i do so,will it be considered as 2nd attempt by the big 4s?

25 October 2014 your attempt will be counted only when you fill exam form,else not.so if you want to appear in novemeber 2015 then don't fill any exam form till then.
But yes!they will ask you the reason for delay.

26 October 2014 so if i say that I wanted to make my basics strong will it be acceptable?

27 October 2014 Your competition is with more than 10000 ca students and everyone will have a target to complete CA within minimum duration with maximum knowledge.So,I don't think this will be strong answer from your end.
