A partnership firm has recently formed a partnership deed duly notarised. The nature of business mentioned in the deed is manufacturing of AC parts, ventilation and heating parts.
I want to apply for IEC no.
Can i opt for 'merchant exporter' and get the IEc no.? This is bec if i opt for 'merchant cum manufacturer exporter' or 'only manufacturer exporter', then customs dept will ask for SSI exemption certificate.
