03 March 2014 I have an article assistant registered on 1.2.2013 under direct entry scheme. If she terminates article ship right now, is she eligible to appear for IPCC May 2014 examination.

03 March 2014 but is she have completed 9 months of training on day of termination then yes can appear for ipcc may 2014 else not.

04 March 2014 Not satisfied with the above answer, contacted.... branch of SIRC of ICAI. They said appearance for the IPCC examination should be either in article ship period or after completion ,meaning thereby student referred in the query will be debarred from writing the IPCC examination by virtue of the article ship termination.

04 March 2014 as per relevant icai regualtion a candidate is allowed to appear for final only if he/she completes 2 years and 6 months of his/her articleship training.

for direct entyr scheme it is 9 months training required to become eligible for ipcc exam.
