I want to change my name on icai portal please help

02 December 2025 Hi sir. ,
I sm currently in foundation
My
name icai portal is as per 10 th marksheet is(for eg : Sharma Ayush )
And name on Aadhar , pan , 12 th is ( Ayush Raju Sharma )

So i want to update my name as icai records
As they have my name according to 10 th marksheet

I have state gazzette made mentioning
My old name : Sharma Ayush
My new name : Ayudh Raju Sharma
Now how do i update name on portal
Also i can not update my 10 th marksheet as board does not allow correction

so only thing i have is name change gazzette and govt ids with my correct name Ayush Raju Sharma

I want to change name on icai records before foundation exam so marksheet will have correct name
Can i do it please help
I sm have anxiety due to this i am unable to focus on studies

If any body has changed names or any qualified person please help me

03 December 2025 You can update your name in ICAI records by submitting a formal request through the Self Service Portal (SSP) or your regional ICAI office, along with supporting documents: (1) Gazette Notification of name change, (2) Government ID proofs (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.) with the correct name, and (3) an application letter requesting correction. ICAI accepts Gazette + valid IDs even if your 10th marksheet cannot be corrected.

03 December 2025 1. Prepare Required Documents
• Attested copy of Gazette Notification showing old and new name.
• Government ID proofs (Aadhaar, PAN, 12th marksheet) with your correct name.
• A formal application letter addressed to ICAI, requesting name correction in student records.
2. Submit via ICAI Self Service Portal (SSP)
• Log in to the ICAI SSP portal.
• Go to Profile Update / Edit section.
• Raise a ticket under “Profile Correction – Name Change”.
• Upload scanned copies of Gazette and ID proofs.
3. Alternative: Regional Office Submission
• If SSP does not allow direct upload, write an application to your regional ICAI office.
• Attach Gazette copy + ID proofs.
• ICAI will verify and issue a letter confirming name change.
4. Follow-up
• Track your request via SSP “Helpdesk / e-Sahaayataa.”
• Keep acknowledgment receipts safe.
• Once approved, ICAI will update your records so your Foundation exam admit card and marksheet reflect the correct name.
