I have excess claim ITC in GSTR 3B of F.Y. 2017-18 but I have Less Claim in F.Y. 2018-19 but not mentioned in GSTR 3B ITC reversal Column. But in GSTR 9, I have mentioned reversal of ITC . AO was issued notice for demand. What can i do.

Check, now amount of reversal of ITC through DRC-03 should be reflected at Table 13 of GSTR-9 (Annual Return).
Check your effect of reversal in cash or credit ledger. If it's there really to the notice.

REVERSAL IS TO BE SHOWN. YOU HAVE LESS CLAIMED CAN'T PROVE THE REASON ITSELF. AS IN GSTR9 ALSO REVERSAL IS MENTIONED SO IN 3B YOU SHOULD HAVE CLAIMED ENTIRE ITC AND SHOULD HAVE REVERSED THROUGH SHOWING REVERSAL. AND THINGS MAY ALSO DEPEND ON GSTR9 OF 18-19 REGARDIG REASONS OF LESS CLAIMING ITC.

I have less claimed ( 2018-19 eligible ITC less 2017-18 extra claimed ITC) in fy 2018-19, but i have not mentioned in reverse column in gstr 3b. I have mentioned in gstr 9 reversal of ITC.
