If ders two HUF files, one in d name of father n d other in sons name.Meanwhile father died,...I want to know that can these two files b merged now..??

17 March 2010 No, there should be a complete partition of the bigger HUF in the name of father by executing a partnership deed. Till then the eldest male will act the Karta of that HUF. On partition the assets received by son can be merged with the smaller HUF.
