03 February 2013 in Vinod gupta it is written that huf is created as soon as cild is born s my question is that child (whether male or female) is necessary to create huf or husband and wife alone can form huf?

04 February 2013 As per Hindu Law a male is born with two status. 1) Individual and 2) HUF.
Till male is married there is no claimant and once the male is married he can form his HUF.
This is applicable to only Dayabhaga School of Hindu Law. If after marriage any male or female child is born that can also be the starting point of HUF
