Hello, kindly clear what is the right code for civil contractor under WORKS CONTRACT for registration purpose 9954 or 00440410. on registeraton portal 00440410 not available.

Under GST the HSN codes for services are starting from 99. For works contract services, the HSN code is 9954 and not 00440410.
00440410 is the SAC code which was relevant under service tax and not in GST.
