17 January 2015 As per the taxation rules, an assessee can claim HRA and housing loan benefits is residing in different cities without showing any notional rent. However , if someone is residing in Greater Noida due to exigencies of work and has purchased a residential property in Ghaziabad which is 50kms away but in the same state, is he eligible to claim both without showing any notional rent on the housing property???
