As per the taxation rules, an assessee can claim HRA and housing loan benefits is residing in different cities without showing any notional rent.
However , if someone is residing in Greater Noida due to exigencies of work and has purchased a residential property in Ghaziabad which is 50kms away but in the same state, is he eligible to claim both without showing any notional rent on the housing property???

he can claim HRA and housing loan if you show rent as notional rent as income.
