21 March 2011 Mr. X recived HRA Rs. 5000 p.m. for 6 months for next 6 month provided consessional Rent Accomodation then salary for Calaculation of Exemption & Perquisit will be consider for 6 month or whlole Year?

Salary for the purpose of HRA will be for the the period to which is paid, therefore it will be for 6 months,
