How to secure good marks in ca final accounts ?

12 July 2010 Dear Sir,though I prepare properly for accounts paper but unable to secure marks to simply pass in the exam due to slackness,at exam I can't attempt the questions which I can solve due to time constraint,simply I am unable to solve questions quickly.I have appeared in May'10 but could answer only 62 marks result being depression and could not attend audit or other papers.What should be the revision strategy I thing there is some lacuna in my manner of preparation.Please note I read notes of Mr. Rajesh Makkar and for accounting standard I refer Mr. D.S. Rawat's book.

Am also a CA final Student and wrote my exams in May 2010. So I dono whether i am fit to advice

anyways from watever little i know i wil share

from ur query i understand ur prob is speed. The only way to solve it is just simply try to solve the sums in home as if u r in examination centre.u should not take more then 1.5 min for 1 mark
for example if u r going thru CFS 16 mark sum the maxi time u should take should be 24.
U may find it diff in the initial stages. but if u practice it would be easy.
prac thoroughly for 2 months. then u wil be able to rock
