How to pay TDS Payment online for Co-Operative Sector

17 April 2009 As per latest Notification No.31/2009 dated 25/03/2009 issued by CBDT, it is mandatory to pay TDS / TCS by online.
However as per Maharashtra Co-Operative societies Act, 1960, Any Co-Operative Societies are not permitted to operate Bank other than District Bank or Maharashtra State Co-Op. Bank Ltd.
My Query is :
(1) These Banks are not having such online payment Facility.
How Co-Operative Sector Pay Taxes.?
(2) Whether CA’s are permitted to open their own A/c in Bank and collect TDS amount
from client and Pay Tax by online on behalf of such Co-Operative Society?

19 April 2009 In these days many societies have open bank account in nationalised bank and they are allowing net banking facilities.

Any body can pay TAX on behalf of others as per income tax notification.
