I want to know about, what is income tax and how to pay income tax financial year. Please any suggest me .

14 April 2011 Income tax is tax payable to govt. on any income you earned in a financial year i.e., from April to March of next year.Income tax has to be paid by filing IT return applicable based on your statusi.e., individual or firm or company.Due date for paying IT is July 31st for individuals and huf and sept 30th for corporates and firms
