I want to register a firm on my name for everything commerce, please tell me how to do and how many days it will take?

By Firm you mean Partnership Firm or a Proprietary Firm.?
Proprietary needs no registration, however you will need to take GST registration for doing business.

For Proprietarship Business you can go for GST registration, which will be better as it is applicable from 01/07/2017.
