how to correct pan card details

27 May 2008 My name appears wrong in the PAN card. Can I request to correct the same online? If so in which site should I do so?

27 May 2008 Dear Srikant,

There is no methodology of filing the change details online.

I am sending a PDF fikle in the share file section under Income Tax. Please take the download, fill it uo put your signature with black ink pen and file with UTI / NSDL offices with the photocopy of your PAN Card.

27 May 2008 Thank you Vineet for the prompt response. Actually the name in the card is correct. But the name that appear in their database when searched the nsdl pan link online with my pan number, appears wrong. I believe the procedure to correct would be the same then isnt it?

30 May 2008 Visit the Site NSDL.com otherwise purchase one blue form for correction and submit it with the UTI
