Hi,
you can change wide amending the Core fields of registration in your GST Login. however you need to have Name change Certificate approved from ROC. Pan Card after the approval of ROC in the new name.

In case of Sole proprietorship their is no concept of name changing instead it is closing of one's firm account and new must start as a fresh registration as if its an new Registration
