How to calculate new profit sharing ratio

06 July 2012 A,B,and C are in partnership sharing profits and losses in the ratio 2:2:1. they want to admit D into partnership with one fith sharing. D bring in Rs 30000 as capital and Rs 10000 as premium for goodwill.

Plz tell me how to calculate new profit sharing ratio.Dear Experts and my friends please reply me as soon as possible

17 July 2012 D comes in with 1/5 share, therefore 4/5 share is divided among A B and C in 2:2:1 ratio.

A- 2/5*4/5 - 8/25
B same
C - 1/5*4/5 - 4/25

8:8:4:5
